Hi, I'm Samuel Ward,
a computational astrophysicist
working on the impact of
black holes on galaxies.

I'm currently a Flatiron Research Fellow at the Centre for Computational Astrophysics (CCA), Flatiron Institute in New York City. I obtained my PhD from the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (LMU), while working between the European Southern Observatory (ESO) and Newcastle University. My thesis focussed on linking observational and computational studies of multiphase AGN outflows, under the supervision of Chris Harrison (Newcastle), Tiago Costa (Newcastle) and Vincenzo Mainieri (ESO).
